Kirk Bowman
Kirk Bowman has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Dell EqualLogic, where he was responsible for company revenue generating functions. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Model N and was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence advising early stage companies at Foundation Capital. Kirk also served as the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations of VMware. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Field Operations of Inktomi Corporation, and held positions at eXcelon and Parametric Technology Corp. He is currently a director of private companies Coverity, PanoLogic, Zetta, and Librato. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
Jim Goetz
Jim Goetz of Sequoia Capital works with cloud, mobile and enterprise companies. Jim currently serves on the board of Appirio, Barracuda, Clearwell, eMeter, Jive, MetaSwitch, Nimble, Palo Alto, Sencha and Widgetbox. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2004, Jim served as a General Partner at Accel Partners where he led the investments in Entrisphere (ERIC), Peribit (JNPR), RGB, and Rhapsody (BRCD) and was part of the team responsible for BroadJump (MOTV), Timetra (ALA) and Topspin (CSCO). Earlier, Jim was a Founder of VitalSigns (LU) where he went on to serve as VP/GM of the VitalSoft division of Lucent. Prior to VitalSigns, Jim was the Vice President of Network Management for Bay Networks. Jim has a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Ping Li
Ping joined Accel Partners in 2004, and focuses on big data/storage, cloud computing, mobile, and gaming. Ping has over 15 years of experience as a technology investor and operating executive, helping build market-leading technology companies and product lines. He serves on the boards of Cloudera, Nimbula, and ScaleXtreme, among others. Prior to Accel, Ping worked at Juniper Networks as a senior product line manager for their flagship M-series router products. Ping was actively involved in Juniper’s multi-billion dollar acquisition of Netscreen Technologies. He also served as a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company, advising technology clients in their growth strategies. Ping has an extensive international background as well, with experience at Singapore Telecom and Goldman Sachs Asia. Ping holds an A.B. from Harvard University with honors, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
